I’ve been roleplaying for maybe four years now? I started out in the Mighty Ducks fandom (yes...the Disney movies about the hockey players :P), dabbled briefly in Dawson’s Creek, but now I primarily play in the Harry Potter realm. I’m actually a bit of a newbie compared to some: I started out around October of 2005, so this is only my second year...but I think the intensity of my obsession is making up for all of those lost years.

My favourite character is Regulus Black...and probably to an annoying degree to some, so I do apologize if I ever get a little bit over-enthusiastic to you. Just gently pat my head and tell me to chill. I go off on tangents without really meaning to, and I forget that not everyone cares. I’ve played him in many games, and I never get tired of exploring his character. I have him in quite a few right now, and it’s kind of a compulsion, so I do apologize to those out there who are cross with me, even if they don’t know it’s me they are cross at. But I also enjoy playing Remus Lupin (who I currently have at madworldrp@greatestjournal) – he is actually the character I primarily played when I began in the fandom – and I’ve played some other characters along the way, including Ted Tonks, Hermione Granger, Lily Evans-Potter, Teddy Lupin, Lisa Turpin, AU!Regulus’s son Leo, Roger Davies’s son, and Evan Rosier. I greatly prefer MWPP era, simply because that is where my favourite characters are, but I’ve been talked into dabbling in Trio before, and I enjoyed Teddy Lupin a lot when I played him. I also wrote out an application for Su Li’s father at MW and got accepted, but then I ended up dropping him as school picked up. So his muse is floating around my head a bit, too.

Of the other fandoms I still enjoy playing in, I would say the Final Fantasy (and Kingdom Hearts) video games take the cake. If anything in the world can distract me from Harry Potter, it’s Final Fantasy. I’m not currently playing in any, but I’ve dabbled in the past, and I loved it. I just can’t find any games I’m satisfied with.

On Ships...
I am both slash and het friendly. I really don’t discriminate so much when it comes to character pairings, and chances are I won’t say no to a ship in a game unless a) I’ve already got a ship planned with another character/player, or b) it simply doesn’t make sense whatsoever in the context of the game. What doesn’t make sense in one game might play out logically in another, however, and I’m not usually too exclusive on the matter. I’ve shipped Remus with both Sirius and Tonks in the past (though obviously not at the same time, haha), and Regulus has been paired with both males and females, though in the majority of the games I’ve played him in the past, he hasn’t had any romantic entanglements whatsoever, as he doesn’t tend to initiate things. All of the other characters I play are strictly heterosexual, some with canon loves, some without. Either way, the point of this big ol’ long paragraph is that I’m not neurotic about slash vs. het. :)
